Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths Labs:
We have state of the art Science and Maths Labs. These provide opportunity for specialized study in different disciplines. Experimentation is encouraged and scientific temperament is strengthened. Maths Lab creates challenging atmosphere to put their mathematical abilities to test through practicals, project and models. English Language Lab.

We have full-fledged ELL with CDs, Recorders, Music Systems, and Audio Video Visuals to facilitate English conversational skills among students so that the nuances of the language are limbibed. Role play, recitations, elocutions, dramatics, spell bee, debate and essay competitions are the regular activities done in the lab.
Library:
Library is the nerve center, a mirror & a catalyst element of academic functioning of any institution. Our computerized library includes large volumes of reading & reference material at present. It has more than 6000 books in various subjects.
Computer Lab:
We have two well-equipped computer labs both for junior and senior wings. LAN has been provided for theory classes and audio visual presentations by teachers and guest speakers.
Knowledge Hub/ SRC Room:
Staff resource Centre is equipped with internet facility & software which is extensively utilized by the staff.
Prayer Hall/ religious Education:
Religion is the central element in our lives. Throughout the ages, it is a propagator of basic values & ethical code which provides cohesion to society and integration to personality. Keeping this in view, the school imparts religious and moral education trained ulemas have been specially appointed for every class to impart religious education with special emphasis upon Quran, Tilawat, Hadees and Kirat.

Seminar Hall:
A huge seminar Hall is provided in the school for lectures, seminars, workshops & demonstrations being conducted by the regular and visiting faculty members.
Art, Craft & Music:
Every attempt is made to introduce children to be rich & varied artistic tradition of the country. Children are allowed to experiment and explore in their chosen medium. Eminent pots, painters & singers are regularly invited to the school.
House System:
The house system has a special relevance at Sheikh-Ul-Alam Secondary School. The school is divided into four houses;

• Lidwas
• Zabarwan
• Nunkun
• Harmukh

Each house is an autonomous unit under the supervision of school mistress and its council leaders. It is a structured community within which students develop the feeling of loyality, responsibility and leadership. The houses compete in a wide variety of fields like poetry, music, drama, cricket debates etc.
Student Council:
The school provides ample opportunities for chiseling leadership qualities among students by selecting student representative each year. The student council comprises of head boy and head girl from the senior most classes. Each council member is given a badge which He/She is required to wear through the academic year.
Interactive Assemblies:
The students are given opportunity to showcase their special talents at our morning assembly. News reader is selected every day to read out the news. This is followed by an open interactive session & a quiz on current affairs. Tell a tale in just a minute, inter house competitions etc. are also held.
