Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Maths Labs

Our state-of-the-art Science and Mathematics Laboratories provide students with opportunities for specialized study and hands-on experimentation in different disciplines. Experiments and practical activities are encouraged to strengthen scientific temperament and analytical thinking. The Maths Lab creates a challenging environment where students can explore concepts through projects, models, and practical exercises.

English Language Learning (ELL) Lab

The school has a fully equipped English Language Lab, featuring CDs, recorders, music systems, and audio-visual tools to enhance conversational skills. Activities such as role play, recitations, elocution, dramatics, spell bee, debates, and essay competitions are regularly conducted, helping students master the nuances of the English language.

Library

The library is the nerve center of the school and a key element of academic excellence. Our computerized library houses over 6,000 books covering a wide variety of subjects, including reference materials, magazines, and periodicals. Students are encouraged to explore, read, and cultivate a love for learning from an early age.

Computer Labs

Sheikh-ul-Alam Secondary School has two fully equipped computer labs for both Junior and Senior wings. The labs are LAN-enabled, supporting theory classes, practical sessions, and audio-visual presentations conducted by teachers and guest speakers.

Knowledge Hub / Staff Resource Centre (SRC)

Our Staff Resource Centre is equipped with internet facilities and educational software, which are extensively used by the teaching staff for lesson planning, research, and professional development.

Prayer Hall & Religious Education

Religion and moral values are central to the education at Sheikh-ul-Alam. The school provides religious and ethical education to foster integrity, respect, and social cohesion. Trained Ulemas are appointed for every class, with emphasis on Quran, Tilawat, Hadees, and Kir’at.

Seminar Hall

A spacious Seminar Hall is available for lectures, workshops, seminars, and demonstrations conducted by regular and visiting faculty. It serves as a hub for academic enrichment and co-curricular activities.

Art, Craft & Music

We encourage students to explore their creative talents through art, craft, and music classes. Children experiment with a variety of mediums, while eminent artists, painters, poets, and musicians are invited to inspire and guide them.

House System

The school is divided into four houses, each acting as a structured community for students to develop loyalty, responsibility, and leadership:

Houses compete in sports, debates, drama, music, and literary activities, fostering teamwork and healthy competition.

Student Council

Sheikh-ul-Alam Secondary School provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills through a structured Student Council. The council includes a Head Boy and Head Girl, along with representatives from each class. Members wear badges throughout the academic year and actively participate in school governance and events.

Interactive Assemblies

Morning assemblies provide students with a platform to showcase talents, participate in quizzes, and engage in discussions. Activities include news reading, “Tell a Tale in a Minute,” inter-house competitions, and current affairs quizzes, promoting confidence and communication skills.
